Ever since I first heard about United World Colleges, one thing that I have heard repeatedly was how diverse the UWC community is. However, the first thing I felt when meeting my new colleagues was solidarity, a community based on equality and respect. UWC Adriatic is the smallest UWC College (in terms of number of students attending) and this creates a massive sensation of unity, security and stability. Moreover, living together with people from so many countries gives us the opportunity of learning the true value of culture and education.
