In 2016, Irina Păcurariu has done a series of documentaries for TVR, featuring Romanians who have succeeded in the most competitive places around the globe. Cristina Gehnoiu, a UWC-USA 1998-2000 graduate is one of them: she holds a PhD in biochemistry from Cornell University  and has been involved in cancer research. At 31, she was already a consultant for one of the largest global companie in bio-technology.
